Christmas in the shoe…

Every year they are more: the material and financial donations, the Podo e.V. plays with your and your help on the charitable Christmas market – We say thank you from my heart!

1.736,69 Euro This year the Club account can be paid and go directly to the support of Podo sufferers in Ethiopia. These are, for example, 173 Pair of shoes, their production is financed or 115 Affected parties, which for a year in their self-help groups can be maintained and supported with the necessary materials for the treatment and prevention.

“Every year againthe cold defying Podo engaged with many beautiful stand..., homemade cards, Earrings, Christmas stars, Candles... and many delicious, homemade and even cooked biscuits and jams on the Rixdorfer Christmas market in Berlin. and Every year again It makes are great fun there, some of the pre Christmas spirit to experience, mit alten und neuen Podo-Mitgliedern eng aneinander zu rücken und mit interessierten Menschen ins Gespräch zu kommen.

Dieses Jahr war ich beeindruckt von der Menge und Vielfalt an gespendeten und zuvor gesammelten Dingen, die wir an unserem Stand anbieten konnten. Und ebenso beeindruckt, wie wenig davon am Ende übrig war.. 🙂 Außerdem fand ich es sehr schön ein paar neue Podo-Engagierte kennengelernt zu haben, die extra für den Weihnachtsmarkt aus Hamburg und Jena angereist waren. and: Zum ersten Mal habe ich jemanden von den Weihnachtsmarkt-Besuchern getroffen, der Podokoniose aus eigener Erfahrung gut kannte! In diesem Sinne, hoffe ich, dass Podokoniose eines Tages nicht mehr zu den vernachlässigten, unbekannten Krankheiten zählen wird und wir mit unserer Arbeit einen kleinen Beitrag dazu leisten können!
