The founding of Podo e.V.
most 20.11.2011 met a group of 12 People in Hermannsburg and founded the Podo e.V. The desire to engage in people with Podokoniose connects us all. The commitment of Podo e.V. refers in particular to Ethiopia.

Our work: Enlightenment
Although the treatment is simple and quick success, many Ethiopians hold the disease for witchcraft. So far, the Ethiopian health staff has little access to information about Anna.

a disease of the poor rural population of Ethiopia. People, who walk barefooted and come in contact with volcanic soil in the Highlands, are at risk. About a million of the worldwide four million affected are Ethiopians. Dust, that penetrates in the feet, cloggs the lymph vessels….
